The vision
With ever-increasing technological advancement, and improvements of production processes aided by machine learning, there never was a better time to produce a product fast and cheap. There is no denying that the amount of mass-produced furniture is increasing, along with the constant efforts of manufacturers to save money on material and the process - compromising quality and longevity of the product.
We do not stand for this.
Optimization and repeatability is great only when the quality does not suffer.
So, the idea was born. Smart furniture that is both durable and produced out of highest quality of material, becoming a piece in your living space instead of just another product that will last for a couple of years and eventually be replaced. Our products dare to step out and claim presence, accentuating your space with the feeling of solidity - and timeless design.
TOOLS
We use high quality hand tools, alongside a CNC milling machine. This setup assures the fit & finish of products that we offer - allowing us to make adjustments as we go, and guaranteeing that every piece that leaves our production space is produced to the highest standard.
FUNCTIONALITY
The functionality of our products merges technology with premium design. We strive in challenge, focusing on development of products that serve a purpose, and look good while doing so. Fighting against modern times in this case would be futile - so we do our best to research and integrate high quality components in our products. Meet the team!
We are two young entrepreneurs, schooled in mechatronics. The passion for working with our hands started a long way before Kogni came to be. For us, woodworking was always a way to challenge conventional ways in the industry, merging our ideas with the best practices and producing unique pieces that we can proudly say were manufactured to the highest standard. The hunger for uniqueness will not perish. We believe smart and quality furniture should be accessible to everyone, moving away from plastics and non sustainable materials.
